Class 37 Driver Experience
Each course will take two participants, who will each be able to drive between Spring Village and Lawley Village, and also have the opportunity to drive to and from Horsehay & Dawley Station. On your course, you could be hauling up to two coaches and Brake Van.
Each participant can be accompanied by up to two guests for free and can add extra guests for £15 each who may travel on the train during the course.
We expect the following locomotives to be used on the following dates (subject to availability).
- Saturday 4th July 2026 - 37263
- Saturday 5th September 2026 - 37263
Please note that participants must be over 18 yrs
Your Driver Experience Day starts at either 0900 or 13:00 at Spring Village and finishes there at approximately 1200 or 16:00 retrospectivly.
*Telford Steam Railway reserve the right to change the locomotive/multiple unit prior to the experience taking place if said vehicle is unfit for use.
